The Maritime Room is a great fit for workshops because it feels inspiring, not corporate. You’re right on Princes Wharf with big windows, harbour views and loads of natural light, which helps people stay engaged and creative. The space is highly flexible, so we can shape it for brainstorming, hands-on work or training. With strong AV, an experienced team and good coffee and catering, it’s an easy place to run a productive, energising workshop.

We host workshops from small groups through to large interactive days. For 10–20 people, we might use our boardroom or part of the main space. For 30–60 participants, we can set up clusters of tables with plenty of room to move. For 100–200+ attendees, we’ll use the full room and break-out areas. We’ll recommend the best layout once we know your numbers and workshop style.

You’ll have everything you need for a hands-on, interactive day. We provide projectors or large screens, microphones, sound system and reliable Wi-Fi. There are whiteboards, flip charts and plenty of wall space for post-its and worksheets. The room can be divided into breakout zones, with each area having its own tools. We can quickly adjust lighting or blackout the room for video, and we’re set up with plenty of power points for laptops and devices.

Yes – we build catering around your agenda so people stay focused and energised. For full-day workshops, that usually means arrival tea and coffee with light breakfast options, a morning break, lunch, and an afternoon pick-me-up. Lunch might be a working buffet, fresh salads and wraps, or something more substantial, depending on your schedule. We include healthy options, cater for dietary needs and time everything to your breaks.

Absolutely. Workshops often need to switch between presentation mode and group work, and our team is very used to resetting the room on the fly. We can move from a U-shape briefing to small-group clusters or open floor space during a single break. Lightweight furniture, mobile whiteboards and flexible partitions make it easy to create stations, collaboration zones or clear space for interactive exercises.

We’ll talk through layouts, AV and catering options, then send a tailored proposal. Once you’re happy, we’ll confirm with an agreement and deposit. From there, we’ll work to your run-sheet, align breaks and room changes with your agenda, and have everything ready so you can focus on delivering the workshop.
