With beautiful food, flexible layouts and an experienced wedding team, it’s a space you can truly make your own for an unforgettable celebration.

We host weddings of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to big, vibrant celebrations. For larger weddings, we can accommodate up to 400 guests in a cocktail-style reception. For a seated wedding breakfast or dinner, we commonly seat around 150–200 guests comfortably and can go to approximately 250 with the right layout. Smaller weddings still feel warm and inviting – we simply adjust the room design so it fits your guest list perfectly.

We offer three main reception packages to make planning easier: a Standing Cocktail Package from $125 per person, a Seated Buffet Package from $145 per person, and a Seated Plated Package from $160 per person. All include six hours’ venue hire, tailored furniture setups, sound system, professional service staff and planning support. You’ll receive a detailed Wedding Pack and can customise elements like beverages, timings and add-ons to suit your style and budget.

Yes, everything is catered in-house, and the food is a real highlight. Depending on your package, you might choose generous canapés, a buffet feast or a full three-course plated dinner. Menus are created by our head chef using fresh, seasonal ingredients, and we can incorporate cultural dishes or favourite recipes. Our fully licensed bar offers curated beverage packages, Champagne toasts and even signature cocktails, all served by professional waitstaff and bartenders.

While The Maritime Room is best known as a reception venue, many couples choose to hold their ceremony here as well. You can say your vows on the covered deck overlooking the water (weather permitting) or inside with the harbour as your backdrop. We’ll set up seating, an aisle and any décor you provide, then turn the room around for your reception. Or, if you prefer a church or off-site ceremony, you’re welcome to use us for reception only.

Yes. From the moment you book, you’ll have a dedicated coordinator to guide you through the planning. We’ll help with timelines, floor plans, menu choices and liaising with your suppliers. On the day, our team manages the venue details – from setting tables and place cards to cueing music and lighting – so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. The goal is simple: you relax and enjoy your wedding while we take care of the logistics.
